Hello. My name is Ayla Fox, and I am 20 years old. I am genuinely excited to be working again alongside Mrs. Mindy again for this upcoming school year at Seedsowers. About me personally, I graduated from Calvary’s ISP. I’ve been a volunteer helper in the children’s ministry at Calvary since I was 15 and have served as a leader at Music Drama Day Camp with Canyon Lake Community church since I was 14. I have a heart for missions and have served at Camp Machaca in Belize the past four summers. I’m currently a group leader for our freshmen high school girl’s at Calvary. I love working with children! I’m the oldest of 8. I also have three brothers with special needs who have taught me lots of patience and how to think outside of the box when it comes to teaching and dealing with children.
Hello! My name is Janita Mestre. I was born in South Africa and have since lived in several countries. My parents were international business men and missionaries. I grew up traveling from orphanage to orphanage blessing children. That is where my passion for children began. At five years old, my family and I moved to Portugal, where I began learning violin at a music conservatory. Since then, I have pursued music and now play the violin, cello, piano, guitar, and sing. My desire is to bring awareness of music to children and have been teaching violin and cello for several years. In 2013 I graduated high school and began my studies toward a bachelors in International Studies. Lastly, I am very involved in my parent’s church, Renewal Church, leading worship. This will be my third year working at Seedsowers Montessori.
Hi! My name is Nicole Mestre. This is also my third year assisting at Seedsowers Montessori. I was born in South Africa and lived there for four years, actively supporting orphanages and building community for those who were less fortunate. After three years I moved to Portugal where I attended a Musical Conservatory and learned how to play the piano, sing and act. After living in Europe for some time, my parents felt the Lord was calling them to America to be missionaries, so my family packed up and moved. During my time in the U.S. I have had the privilege of expanding my passion for music to several different instruments, and about three years ago I started teaching beginner piano lessons. In 2013 I graduated high school and began pursuing my medical career as a doctor to eventually travel to different countries helping the children I grew up with. I am actively involved as a teacher’s assistant in my parent’s church and serve as a Sunday school teacher. I am also participating in the worship team. I look forward to getting to know your little-ones and all the amazing things they will learn while attending Seedsowers Montessori.
After getting to know the staff, you will see we all have very different personalities but a common objective. We are dedicated to Biblical truths, the Montessori methods, and the care and education of your child. Our aim is to lay the foundations for a lifetime of creative learning!
