Seedsowers’ Staff

Hello! My name is Micah Shaffer, and I am 24 years old. I have a bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Development and have always been passionate about working with children. I love watching them grow and succeed mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am working towards a future as an Applied Behavior Analyst, where I will conduct therapy with children with autism or other developmental conditions. I am so excited to return for a third year, work with your children, and see them grow in their knowledge here at Seedsowers Montessori!

Hello!  My name is Isha Whitham, and I am 20 years old attending school at MSJC. I am excited to work at Seedsowers Montessori again as a substitute teacher and filling in when needed. When I was eight years old, I moved to Mexico with my family and spent five years there. While in Mexico, my work with children included visiting orphanages, helping with kids in my neighborhood, and teaching art. I am fluent in Spanish and English and passionate about art. I have a family of 7 and have been actively involved in the care of my youngest brother, which has taught me about patience and the developmental stages of early childhood. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your children!

After getting to know the staff, you will see we all have very different personalities but a common objective.   We are dedicated to Biblical truths, the Montessori methods, and the care and education of your child.  We aim to lay the foundations for a lifetime of creative learning!
