Hello! My name is Micah Shaffer, and I am 23 years old. I am recently completed my degree in Family and Child Development at Liberty University in Virginia. I have always been passionate about working with children, and I love watching them grow and succeed mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am currently working towards a future as an Applied Behavior Analyst, where I will be conducting therapy with children who have autism or other developmental conditions. I am so excited to return for another year and for the opportunity to work with your children and see them grow in their knowledge here at Seedsowers Montessori!
Hello! My name is Isha Whitham, and I am 19 years old attending school at MSJC. I am excited to work at Seedsowers Montessori again as a substitute teacher and filling in when needed. When I was eight years old, I moved to Mexico with my family and spent five years there. While in Mexico, my work with children included visiting orphanages, helping with kids in my neighborhood, and teaching art. I am fluent in Spanish and English and passionate about art. I have a family of 7 and have been actively involved in the care of my youngest brother, which has taught me about patience and the developmental stages of early childhood. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your children!
After getting to know the staff, you will see we all have very different personalities but a common objective. We are dedicated to Biblical truths, the Montessori methods, and the care and education of your child. We aim to lay the foundations for a lifetime of creative learning!
