Seedsowers Montessori has been an absolute blessing for my sons TK and kindergarten years. Miss Mindy and Miss Micah are so passionate about leading our children with a loving, caring, compassionate, and God, loving heart. We are so thankful to be part of Seedsowers.Posted on Yelp![]()

Seedsowers is the best! All three of our kids have gone here. Mindy is wonderful and creates a loving environment where my kids have also been fully prepped and ready for kindergarten.Posted on Facebook![]()

My son and daughter are now 9 and 7 and still talk about and miss their days at Seedsowers. Now that I have a new little one they can’t wait for her to go here someday. We loved our time at Seedsowers as it was not only a place filled with learning but a place filled with love. Thank you Miss Mindy for being such a blessing to our family.Posted on Yelp![]()

Miss Mindy and Miss Micah at the Seedsowers Montessori Kindergarten are absolutely amazing! Our son went there for 2 years (until he outgrew the program) and he describes his time there as a very happy time where he felt loved, appreciated, learned a lot and all in a small and beautiful environment. His growth was tremendous, both academically but also personally, and we believe it was incredibly beneficial to him to be a student with Seedsowers. We don't have enough words to thank Miss Mindy and Miss Micah for everything they do and can only wish every child would have the opportunity to attend a kindergarten such as theirs. We would give 10 stars if we could! Diane, Alexander and RomanPosted on Yelp![]()

All four of my kids have attended Seedsowers Montessori, and I truly can't say enough good things about it! Each of them absolutely loved their time there, especially with the wonderful Ms. Mindy. It's a place where they were able to learn and grow, all while having fun and enjoying the magic of childhood. As a mom of three boys and one girl, I saw firsthand how Seedsowers supports all kinds of learners. The environment is nurturing, safe, and rooted in Christian values--exactly what I hoped for in a preschool. Watching my kids grow in confidence and knowledge over the years has been such a gift. It's the end of an era for our family, and we're going to miss it so much!Posted on Yelp![]()

Seedsowers Montessori has been such a blessing to our family. All four of our kids have gone through the program, and each one came out more confident, curious, and full of joy. It's the kind of place where kids are truly seen, loved, and encouraged to grow into who God made them to be. What set Seedsowers apart for us is that it's not just a great preschool--it's a place rooted in the gospel. The love of Jesus is woven into everything they do, from how the kids are treated to the way they learn and play. Ms. Mindy and the team have created a safe, nurturing, faith-filled environment that we'll always be grateful for. Now that our youngest is moving on, it feels like the end of an era--but we carry so much gratitude for the foundation Seedsowers helped lay in each of our children.Posted on Yelp![]()

Miss Mindy is hands down the best educator. She is so kind and her interactions with the kids are evidence of that. My son went to Seedsowers for 2 years and was more than prepared for Kindergarten. He tested at the 4th grade reading level and completed his GiGi math 3 months early. Both of my children adore Miss Mindy because she truly cares. This was one of the best decisions we have made for our children.Posted on Facebook![]()

We love Miss Mindy! My son attended Seedsowers for two years & enjoyed every moment. Price is right, the field trips are fun, and the assistant teachers are fabulous! He learned and grew so much during his time there. We highly recommend Seedsowers. We moved away, otherwise I'd have my youngest attend next year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common queries about Seedsowers Montessori.
How Does It Work?
In a Montessori classroom, children learn naturally from one another—just like in a family! Each class includes a mix of ages, typically spanning three years, creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Younger children look up to their older peers, while older children reinforce their learning by sharing what they’ve mastered.
Our teachers carefully observe each child, guiding them to new materials and lessons based on their individual needs. The classroom strikes a beautiful balance between self-directed learning and whole-group community, allowing children to grow at their own pace while feeling connected and supported.
What Makes Montessori Different?
The Montessori method was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 1900s, based on the idea that every child is unique and learns best in an environment that respects their individuality. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, Montessori classrooms are designed to nurture independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
In a Montessori environment, children learn through hands-on exploration and at their own pace. They are encouraged to repeat activities until they master them (repetition), solve problems on their own (independence), and engage with lessons that spark their passion for learning. Over time, this approach helps children develop into confident, capable, and peaceful individuals who are excited about the world around them.
Montessori isn’t just about academics—it’s about helping children grow into whole, well-rounded individuals who love learning and thrive in a nurturing, respectful environment.
What Does a Day at Seedsowers Look Like?
Our daily schedule provides a balance of structure, independence, and joyful learning in a warm and loving environment.
In the morning session, we begin with circle time, where we greet one another, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and have a daily devotion. After this, children move into an independent work period, choosing activities that spark their curiosity and build new skills. During this time, teachers carefully observe each child, provide one-on-one lessons, and guide small group lessons based on individual needs. Toward the end of the morning, we gather again for circle time, which includes guitar music, gross motor movement, and a story. Before dismissal, we share lunch together, and the last 15 minutes of the session are spent enjoying playtime.
The afternoon session follows a similar rhythm. The children begin with lunch before transitioning into circle time, where they greet one another, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and have a daily devotion. After that, they engage in an independent work period, exploring materials and activities at their own pace. where teachers continue to observe, give one-on-one lessons, and lead small group lessons. As the session comes to a close, they gather once more for circle time, which includes guitar music, movement activities, and a story. The day ends with playtime before heading home.
Well the mission statement is “To plant the spiritual and educational seeds needed to raise a child for a life time of growth. Building from the Biblical foundation blocks of integrity, service, creativity and our cornerstone Christ Jesus.”
We break it down like this:
“…to plant…” An active intent to prepare the soil of a child’s heart and mind then strategically place the seeds of truth for a life-time of growth. – 1 Corinthians 3:6-8
“…the spiritual and educational seeds needed to raise a child for a life time of growth …” First the spiritual seed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, foretold in the Bible. Second, the educational seed developed from the Biblical principles explained by Maria Montessori. – Matthew 13:3-9, Colossians 2:6-7, 2 Timothy 3:15
“…Building from the Biblical foundation blocks…” Laying down a platform from which the child will know that the Bible is the inerrant, authoritative, living Word of God spoken to Men through the Holy Spirit. – Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, `2 Peter 1:20-21
“…of integrity…” Setting the bar of moral uprightness and honesty from the beginning of a child’s education. 2 Tim 2:15, Ecclesiastics 3:12
“…service…” Modeling servant leadership through humility, respect and selflessness. – Mark 9:35, Mark 10:43-45, Luke 9:48, James 4:6
“…creativity…” Continually working to prepare an environment that enables students to learn in the manner which best fits their unique strengths. – Proverbs 29:18
“…and our cornerstone Christ Jesus.” The only begotten Son of God the Father, Almighty maker of heaven and earth who exists in eternity. He is our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit , born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate. He was crucified and died for our sins to pay the cost of righteous judgment. He descended into hell and on the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven where He sits at God’s mighty right hand. He is returning to judge the quick and the dead of the sons of men. – John 1:1
Children are exposed to the following spiritual truths concerning:
SELF: GOD made us and loves us. Each person has value. We can do many things because of the way GOD made us.
OTHERS: Others have value. We can love and help others. GOD wants us to be kind to others. GOD loves everyone.
BIBLE AND PRAYER: We can learn about GOD and talk with Him. The Bible tells about GOD and shows us how to live. GOD hears us always, anytime.
GOD: GOD the Father. He is the Father of Jesus. He made the world and everything in it. He loves everyone and is unchanging.
JESUS: GOD the Son. He was born a baby who grew to become a man. He came to earth to die for our sins. Jesus is our Lord, and our Savior. He will return one day.
HOLY SPIRIT: GOD the Spirit. The Holy Spirit authored the Bible. He guides us into all truth. He is always with us.
