Miss Mindy

My name is Miss Mindy, and I have been a credentialed Montessori teacher since 1994. I received my certifications through the American Montessori Society (AMS) in conjunction with the Montessori School of the Rockies and the University of Colorado.

This year marks my 32nd year in education and the 25th year of Seedsowers Montessori! Since 2001, my family and I have had the privilege of creating a Montessori classroom as an extension of our home, serving and ministering to families in our community. What began as a small classroom has grown into a place where generations of children have learned, grown, and developed a love for learning.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach in Colorado, the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, and California. My classroom experience includes kindergarten, first and second grades, and, of course, preschool. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique developmental needs of each child and the importance of nurturing the whole child.

I am married to a wonderful husband who is also an educator, specializing in special education (SPED). We have three amazing children: our son graduated with his master’s degree from the University of Oregon; our middle daughter graduated with her bachelor’s degree from The King’s College in New York; and our youngest daughter attends Biola University.

As the Seedsowers Directress and head teacher, I am blessed to be involved in all of our morning and afternoon classes. After more than three decades in education, my favorite part of teaching remains watching children discover what they are capable of doing and seeing their confidence grow.

I am excited to begin another year at Seedsowers Montessori and look forward to partnering with your family as your child learns, grows, and thrives in our nurturing, Christ-centered Montessori environment.
